Adam is the engineering librarian at Oregon State University. He works with engineering faculty to design and teach curriculum for both undergraduate and graduate students in media, information, science, and AI literacies. His research interests include online learning pedagogy, machine learning, research data management, standards education, and technology applications for library outreach. He also offers workshops in GIS, scientific illustration, and has co-taught workshops on using AI tools designed for literature review.
He currently teaches the Responsible Conduct of Research course for graduate students, which includes an exploration of AI ethics, and is co-developing a graduate-level course on the professional implications of AI.
