Summer Humanities Teaching Innovation Fellowship: Critical AI Literacy
J.T. Bushnell co-authored a study called A New Muse: How Guided AI Use Impacts Creativity in Online Creative Writing Courses as a fellow for the OSU Ecampus Research Unit. He is a senior instructor and chair of the AI Advisory Committee in the School of Writing, Literature, and Film, where he has taught courses in creative writing, literature, argumentation, and grammar since 2007. His essays about writing have been published in Poets & Writers, The Writer’s Chronicle, The Writer, Catapult, and Fiction Writers Review, where he was a contributing editor. His fiction has appeared in Iron Horse Literary Review, Passages North, The Mississippi Review, Meridian, and many other literary journals. His novel, The Step Back, was released in 2021 by Ooligan Press.
